First we had Cody's parents here, Joey and Corinn. The weekend started off with Cody and Mark on a all day fishing trip in Provo Caynon. Then later that night Cody watched Brylinn while the rest of us went to Max's Young Ambassador show. Which was excellent, I am so glad I got to see it.
But Brylinn's favorite part of the weekend was getting to swim at the hotel. Since the day she was born she has loved the water!
Then about 3 hours after they left my Mom and two brothers picked Brylinn and I up and we headed to St. George for a few days. We were so excited for the warm weather and to be able to swim outside... but no such luck, it was cold and rainy almost the whole time. Although we did find a few short gaps where there sun would come out and we could jump into the heated 91 degree pool. We had to stay under the water because the 65 degree air was quite chilly. Brylinn loved that little seat, she would just kick and move herself around the whole pool. It was so cute.
You would think that this was her favorite part of the trip...But no... It was a close second, right behind my Aunt Mary giving her a egg beater covered in home made whipping cream.
She seriously went to town on this thing. It was so funny to watch, but not so funny when bed time came and she was wired.
We then came back up to Orem and my family stayed for another few days. One of the funnest family nights ever (just don't try it on a second level apartment, because the people living beneath you apparently don't like it) is to play Minute to Win it.
Our first level was "Hanky Panky". The goal is to pull all the tissues out of the tissue box in less than one minute. Very wasteful but probably one of the funniest games.
Brylinn was also very entertained.
The next round was "Suck it up". The goal of this game was to suck up 4 pieces of candy with a straw and transport them to a cup on the other side of the room.
We then did "Cup Stacking".
Then the final game was the bubble game. You have to blow a bubble and keep it in the air and blow it through a hula hoop on the other side of the room, and if it pops you have to start over. This might sound easy but its not...
The winner was Cody. But he did cheat in the tissue game so not really.
The next day we went rock climbing. Even my Mom tried it.
Then we went to dinner at the Mayan.
Look at the size of my little girl's gut... are you kidding me. Hahaha.
It was so sad when the two weeks were over and we woke up to such a quiet, empty house. It was so fun to have everyone around. We miss everyone already.
