Finally!!!

I know i know i am not very good at this. But i will make this a long blog to make up for the past 3 months i havent wrote on it haha. The wedding was fantastic, the weather was sunny... and super windy but hey i guess you cant have it all. Racheal and my dad took really good pics with the lighting they had at the temple! They all turned out so good! my bouquet was so pretty i loved it! And of course i loved my dress. We havent really got any of the the reception pictures back yet but as soon as we do i will put them so of them up as well.

My diet coke was clearly the only thing that got me through the day with out it i surely would have never made it. but i have given it up which makes me sad :( i miss it

But by far my favorite part of the wedding (beside the whole kneeling at the alter with my new husband and being sealed for time and all eternity) was getting to walk out the temple where everyone was waiting for us and a million cameras went off all at once, i just really felt like a movie star haha.

After everyone left the temple we stayed and got as many pictures as we could and the rest of the day was followed by the wedding lunchoen which was a lot of fun and the reception which was also a lot of fun, but we were so tired by the time that came around, but it was beautiful, just how i wanted it!

we then went to mexico for a week, which was fantastic and of course i have no pictures of it haha. i will again put some up later (but lets be honest who knows when that will be) Went to Mesa straight from Cabo on friday night, we have our reception on saturday and on sunday we left for our 22 hour drive to Houston.

We packed all our stuff in a storage unit, took what we could fit in our car and left! We have been here for almost 2 months, and we love it. Cody is selling pest control, and i work for the same company in the office. we have different hours which sucks. but other than that we have really enjoy being out here.

On the 4th of July we had a lot of fun we went to a lake and rented 2 boats, it killed cody not to go wake boarding cause of his knee but he got to drive the boat and had his fun! Then after we went to Kemah boardwalk, and watched the fireworks, it was pretty cool they launched them off a boat over the water. And went to a nice dinner with Caitlyn, brian, Joel and Clarissa

Like i said we are really enjoying it out here, we have made so awesome friends. but we miss our families and cant wait to see them again!

25 Days Left!!!

So only 25 days till the wedding!! its coming up so fast. Everything is going well with the wedding plans except for... the invitations, its just been one thing after the next, but they do look amazing. Everyone will have thiers in time, hopefully haha. I am finally done with BYU-I it was a little hard to say goodbye even though i kicked and screamed the whole time i was there, but i was over the sadness quite quickly. I am really happy to be back in Colorado with my family.

On my way back from Idaho i stoppped in Denver and met up with Racheal and Bethanie to buy shoes for the wedding! All 3 of us found the cutest shoes. i found the most perfect pair to match my dress perfectly, now i have to the complete emsemble. All i have to figure out is my hair, ahh i guess my jewerly i hadnt even thought about that yet.

Codys surgrey went well last Thursday, he has been really sore and sleeping a lot. But his mom has been taking care of him really well of course! He is recovery quicky, yesterday he even got up and drove himself to get a haircut. He got to take off his bandages the other day and this is how is knee looks, its really swollen so its hard to make out thats its a knee.

So our plans to move to Texas are out :( I guess it wasnt right for us at this time! But i am glad we get to be in AZ for a short while so I can get to know his family better, i am really excited. I just can't believe we only have 25 days left. Its going to be a crazy 3 weeks I am sure.

Poor Cody

He went wakeboarding the other day and got hurt. He messed up his knee. Its been really swollening for the past few days. Poor guy has been all alone and has no one to take care of him cause his family is all in hawaii. Today he got his MRI, so we are just waiting on the results for that. Hopefully its just a sprain or something minor or we could be doing a lot of rearranging of summer plans.

Got the wedding dress!!!!

So this past weekend i went to Salt lake with my mom and got the wedding dress of my dreams!!!! its so pretty i love it! After 2 days of shopping, 7 stores, and trying on atleast 50 dresses i found mine! Thanks so much mom and dad for buying it for me. now i would post a picture on here but Cody cant see it. sorry

But overall it was a great weekend. Cody came up with some of his friends so during the day i shopped and at night i hung out with Cody which left no room for sleeping but all worth it!

Engagement photos

We went to Colorado this weekend and got our engagement photos done i think they turned out just fantastic!!! there was over 700 pics and finally got it narrowed down to three haha. Thanks Racheal and my dad for taken them! You guys are the best!

Finally an update

sorry this took so long to get it up... but thats typically how i work. so i would say he finally proposed but that would be a little out of control since we havent even been dating for that long let alone i havent even known him for that long... so we will just say he proposed!!! Since i already knew it was coming some time soon and i had already seen the ring he had to do something cool that i wouldnt expect... when he showed up to pick me up and he was wearing a shirt and tie i knew we had to be doing something fantsy (maybe like a proposal was going on or something i dont know) . All of our dinner plans kept falling through, so i suggested that we go get a pizza and go on a nice drive but i dont think he took me seriously... because we then heading up to salt lake, we had reservations at the roof at 930 so we had like 3 hours to kill. He parked the car and we watched a movie on his I pod. when that was over we decided to go on a walk through temple square. He took me to the reflection pool and i sat on his lap cause i was not about to sit on that cold concret bench in a thin dress. he pulled out a envelope out of his coat and told me to open it... inside there was 3 pieces of paper, one was his patriarticle blessing and the other two was a poem...

Once there was a boy

i definatly didnt expect that. so at this point i know for sure that he is going to bust out the ring at any second. i couldnt stop shaking partically because i was so excited and partly cause i was freezing. so then he stands up and puts me on the concret bench anyways and held my hands, and told me how much he loved me and then just like in the movies he got down on one knee and open a little black box with my ring in it, he then asked me to marry him. of course i said YESSSS!!!! before he could even finish asking me and them we hugged and kissed and i just wanted him to put that ring on my finger! so he did, i was speechless i think for once in my life i didnt know what to say. We then went inside and he read me his patriarticle blessing. it was definatly the best night of my life so far! I am probably the luckiest girl ever! Thanks again for everything babe.
