Finally an update

sorry this took so long to get it up... but thats typically how i work. so i would say he finally proposed but that would be a little out of control since we havent even been dating for that long let alone i havent even known him for that long... so we will just say he proposed!!! Since i already knew it was coming some time soon and i had already seen the ring he had to do something cool that i wouldnt expect... when he showed up to pick me up and he was wearing a shirt and tie i knew we had to be doing something fantsy (maybe like a proposal was going on or something i dont know) . All of our dinner plans kept falling through, so i suggested that we go get a pizza and go on a nice drive but i dont think he took me seriously... because we then heading up to salt lake, we had reservations at the roof at 930 so we had like 3 hours to kill. He parked the car and we watched a movie on his I pod. when that was over we decided to go on a walk through temple square. He took me to the reflection pool and i sat on his lap cause i was not about to sit on that cold concret bench in a thin dress. he pulled out a envelope out of his coat and told me to open it... inside there was 3 pieces of paper, one was his patriarticle blessing and the other two was a poem...

Once there was a boy

In a land far from home

He loved the people, he loved the Lord

But hated being a lone

He would think from time to time

What future would him bring

Who God would have prepared for him

To give a shiny ring

He wondered of her beauty,

Of qualities unlike all others

The only person who could compare

Would be his loving Mother

Excitement grew as time

In that far land grew slim

Thinking of the challenging goal...

To find the one for him

He spent some time with friends

And spent a lot with family

He realized very quickly

That quality girls wer not aplenty

He searched the Land

High and low

But all that he could think

"If she's out there, I know not where to go."

Then one special day

As if she fell from Heaven

The girl of his dreams

Was even more that he expected

She changed his entire life

And turned his world upsides

So he knew for sure

That he had found his Bride

He knew from that time forth

What his future would him bring

A girl God had prepared for him

To give that shiny ring...

So now when one thinks

That this story is all though

Remember that one eternal round

Always begins with two

i definatly didnt expect that. so at this point i know for sure that he is going to bust out the ring at any second. i couldnt stop shaking partically because i was so excited and partly cause i was freezing. so then he stands up and puts me on the concret bench anyways and held my hands, and told me how much he loved me and then just like in the movies he got down on one knee and open a little black box with my ring in it, he then asked me to marry him. of course i said YESSSS!!!! before he could even finish asking me and them we hugged and kissed and i just wanted him to put that ring on my finger! so he did, i was speechless i think for once in my life i didnt know what to say. We then went inside and he read me his patriarticle blessing. it was definatly the best night of my life so far! I am probably the luckiest girl ever! Thanks again for everything babe.

The date is finally offically set for may 10th!
