Brylinn and I were going a little stir crazy here in Utah. It had been too cold to do anything outside for longer than 10 minutes or so and we were stuck in our dungeon like basement apartment. Then one day we woke up to a few inches of snow outside, and that was it for me. So first we had to convince Cody to let us go to Arizona and about and hour later we were packed and on our way. Brylinn was a trooper in the car up to the last hour or so.
The weather was so nice there, we tried to spend as much time outside as we could. When we were staying at Grandma Taylor's house there are parks everywhere in her neighborhood , so each day we just went to a different one.
Someone in my Mom's ward also had goats that just had babies. Brylinn loves animals so we went to go feed them. The little goats were small enough they could fit through the fence and would come right up to Brylinn and eat out of her hand. I thought she would be more scared, but she loved it.
Then we went to Grandma Rainy's house for a few days. Everytime we go there she always runs in and finds her few favorite things right away and starts playing.
She loves the freedom she has here to just go back and forth from the house to the backyard. We have always lived in apartments with her so she has never really had that. And she was out there being a little too quiet and this is how I found her.
Just chilling out in Nixon's (the dog) water dish. She is such a silly girl.
We got to go to the Phoenix Zoo with Grandma and Uncle Max.
The coolest part was the monkey cage. You could go inside the actually cage and there were tons of little monkeys that would just jump around from tree to tree all around you.
Then when we left they had a little stand to sucker parents into buying a monkey. I couldn't resist, she loved that thing so much. how could I take it away from her.
She also loved the free roaming peacock.
Then at the end of the day Uncle Max took her to the petting zoo (which I would probably never have done).
The whole trip was so much fun. I love when Brylinn gets to interact with our families. We can't wait to move there!
