Valentines Day

Cody and I have a problem, we look for any excuse to buy Brylinn more stuff and Valentines day was no exception.  Both Cody and I bought her different things without communicating to each other that her Valentines was taken care of.  So from me she got a polly pocket, a stuff dog, books and plenty of candy.  Then when Cody got home he sent her and I on a treasure hunt to the backyard, where we found 2 treasure chests, one for each of us.  Cody got Brylinn all of her favorite candy and a package of squinkies, her favorite thing she got for sure. And of course she got a Valentines outfit.

Grandma Rainy also sent her an apron and a treat she will not soon forget about, a ring pop.

 That night for dinner we just had Valentine pizza!

Cody and I decided the first year we were married that we would celebrate Valentines day on the 15th instead of the 14th for a couple reasons.  First we hate crowds but still want to go out for Valentines and secondly because we were engaged on February 15th.  So we got a gift card from his boss to go to our favorite place to eat, Ruth's Chris.  And of course Brylinn got to come with us.  So we drove up to Park City and spent the night together.  We all had a really good time and practically had the restaurant to ourselves.
